# Glenisla Cottage

> Glenisla Cottage is in the picturesque heart of the Western Lake District. This house is the perfect retreat, whether you are looking for a base to explore the surrounding area, climb Scawfell or whether you simply want to kick back and relax. The house was almost completely rebuilt in 2020 with new porch and roof, as well as a new open plan kitchen and bathroom. The house now benefits from extra insulation giving it a very warm and cosy feel. The garden has a lovely stream running through.
